Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 28, 2026
SKOPE LLC (“SKOPE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information through skopeworks.com, our communications with prospective clients, and our ordinary business development activities.
SKOPE is a California limited liability company providing business advisory and related services to U.S. businesses.
This policy covers website visitors, prospective clients, and business contacts. Our handling of information for client engagements may also be governed by engagement agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other applicable terms. Separate products or services may have additional privacy notices.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you submit an inquiry, we collect your name, email address, service interest, and message. You may also provide your company name and website.
We collect information you provide through email, scheduling, meetings, LinkedIn, and other business communications. This may include your professional contact details, role, business needs, and communications with us.
Please do not submit patient information, medical records, Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, or other sensitive personal information through our website. Please also avoid submitting confidential business materials before we have agreed on an appropriate way to receive them.
Information from business sources
For business development, we may obtain professional information from public business websites, LinkedIn, referrals, and tools used to organize business contacts. This may include your name, professional role, employer, business contact information, and publicly available professional information.
We use YouSpot to help organize prospects and support LinkedIn outreach.
Technical and functional information
Our hosting and technology providers receive technical information necessary to deliver and protect the website, such as IP addresses, browser request headers, request times, and diagnostic information.
Our inquiry system uses a hidden bot-detection field and a submission timing check to help prevent spam. Accepted inquiries are stored in Google Workspace (Google Forms and Google Sheets) with a receipt timestamp. The bot-detection field and browser-generated submission-start timestamp are not sent or stored.
The website uses browser session storage to restore your scroll position during navigation.
Fonts
Our website serves the Inter and Newsreader fonts from its own hosting. Loading them does not send your information to Google or any other font provider.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to inquiries and communicate about your business needs.
- Schedule and prepare for conversations.
- Evaluate potential engagements and provide requested information.
- Maintain business relationships and organize prospective client information.
- Conduct relevant business outreach.
- Operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the website.
- Prevent spam, misuse, and unauthorized activity.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations and protect legal rights.
We may send relevant business development communications. You may ask us to stop promotional communications at any time by contacting legal@skopeworks.com or using an unsubscribe method provided in the communication.
3. How we disclose information
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:
Technology and business service providers. These include providers supporting hosting, database storage, email, document management, business administration, relationship management, and communications. Depending on the interaction, these may include Lovable Cloud, Google Workspace, Hello Bonsai, and YouSpot. Not every provider receives every inquiry.
AI service providers. As described below, we may use AI tools to support our business activities.
Referral partners, with your permission. We obtain your permission before sharing your inquiry contact details with a partner for a business introduction or referral.
Professional advisers and legal recipients. We may disclose information to legal, accounting, insurance, or other professional advisers, or when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, investigate misuse, or protect rights and safety.
Business transaction participants. Information may be disclosed in connection with a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or transfer of business assets, subject to applicable legal requirements.
We do not sell business contact lists or currently disclose website visitor information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Use of AI tools
We may use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI tools to help summarize business information, research companies, organize information, or draft communications and materials.
Depending on the task, information submitted to these tools may include professional contact information, business inquiry details, or publicly available professional information.
Our website does not currently send inquiry submissions automatically to an AI service or provide a visitor-facing AI chatbot. Any subsequent use of inquiry information in AI tools is a separate business activity.
AI providers process information according to their applicable terms, privacy practices, and account settings. Public availability of information does not mean it is outside the scope of this policy.
5. Website storage, diagnostics, and tracking
Inquiry submissions are stored in a managed database provided through Lovable Cloud. Ordinary website visitors are not authorized to read, change, or delete stored inquiries. Authorized administrators may access submissions.
Our hosting environment may process server logs and diagnostic information to operate the website, investigate errors, and maintain security. Error details can sometimes contain personal information.
Visit statistics from our hosting provider
Our website is hosted by Lovable, which counts visits to the site for every visitor, including those who decline analytics cookies. These statistics are aggregate, such as the number of visits, pages viewed, and referring sites. Each visit is given a random identifier, which may be stored in your browser for the length of the visit and is discarded when the visit ends. Lovable does not use this information to build profiles or to follow visitors across separate visits, and it is not shared with outside analytics services.
Analytics cookies
With your permission, our website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. It sets cookies and receives information such as your IP address, browser details, pages visited, and referring site. Nothing loads until you select Accept in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with the Your Privacy Choices link at the bottom of every page.
We do not use advertising pixels, session recordings, heatmaps, or visitor-identification tools.
We use functional browser storage for navigation. Hosting and infrastructure providers may also use technical storage or similar mechanisms necessary to deliver and secure their services.
The website does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals. We do not sell personal information or use website information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If we introduce additional tracking technologies, we will update our disclosures and provide choices where required by applicable law.
6. External websites and scheduling
Our website links to external services, including Google Calendar appointment scheduling and LinkedIn.
When you follow these links, you interact with those services under their own privacy policies. Our Google Calendar scheduling link opens a separate page; submitting a website inquiry does not automatically send that inquiry to Google Calendar.
7. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, considering the nature of the information, the status of our relationship, applicable legal obligations, and legitimate recordkeeping needs.
Relevant factors include whether we are actively discussing an engagement, maintaining an ongoing business relationship, resolving a dispute, or complying with legal or contractual requirements.
Retention periods may differ across inquiry records, correspondence, client records, security logs, and provider systems. Backup copies may remain until they are overwritten or expire through the applicable backup process.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal information, including multifactor authentication for business accounts where supported and restrictions on administrative access.
No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Please avoid sending sensitive information through the website inquiry form.
9. Your choices and requests
You may contact legal@skopeworks.com to:
- Ask about our handling of your personal information.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we hold about you.
- Ask us to stop promotional outreach.
- Withdraw permission for a future referral disclosure.
We will consider and respond to requests in accordance with applicable law. We may need to verify your identity or authority before acting. We may retain information where permitted or required for legal obligations, security, dispute resolution, or legitimate recordkeeping.
Depending on where you live and which laws apply to SKOPE, you may have additional privacy rights. This policy does not limit rights provided by applicable law.
10. Children
Our website and services are intended for adult business users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact legal@skopeworks.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
11. Geographic scope
Our services are directed to businesses in the United States. Our providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate. We do not represent that all information is stored or processed exclusively in the United States.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. We will post the updated policy here and revise the effective date. When applicable law requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it.
